In 1997 Hilbrand (Mr.Sax) and Jan (The Giant) decided to work together as a duo. One of the motives was their mutual love for the Rhythm & Blues from 40's, 50's and 60's. The combination of saxophone, piano and hammond is ideally suited for this style of music. The kind of music that gives people a happy feeling and is very danceable. The philosophy of Mr.Sax & the Giant is that music should give people a pleasant and good feeling. After having played for years at home and abroad, they decided to make their first album.
