A prolific and highly trained classical violinist, grass-roots fiddler, composer, and vocalist, Catriona Price is one of the most versatile musicians working in Scotland today. Catriona is passionate about breaking down genre barriers and has collaborated across art forms and cultures in much of her work. 

Hert, Orcadian Scots for 'Heart', is a 50-minute suite in nine movements for nine musicians.

The work was premiered at Celtic Connections 2020 and was Catriona's first major commissioned work.
