Pink Floyd
The Early Years 1965-1972

The Early Years 1965–1972 is een compilatiebox met 33 discs 
die door Pink Floyd is uitgebracht op 11 november 2016. Het werd 
officieel aangekondigd op 28 juli 2016. De set bevat zeven delen 
met cd's, dvd's, bd's , vinylplaten en memorabilia inclusief foto's, 
posters en tourprogramma's. Het bevat vroege niet-album singles 
plus niet-uitgebrachte studio- en live-opnames. Hoewel Volumes 
1–6 sinds 24 maart 2017 afzonderlijk verkrijgbaar zijn, blijft Volu-
me 7 - 1967–1972: Continu / ation exclusief voor de set. Een 
compilatie met twee cd's getiteld The Early Years - Cre / ation werd 
ook beschikbaar gesteld.  Door een fout werd ook een cd-editie van 
Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii opgenomen in de boxset in plaats van 
de 2016-mix van Obscured by Clouds die op het laatste moment in 
de set in een kartonnen portemonnee werd geplaatst. De stand-
alone editie van 1972: Obfusc / ation bevat standaard beide cd's.
In 2019 begonnen een aantal Blu-ray-schijven in deze set te falen 
vanwege fabricagefouten. Warner Music en Pink Floyd hebben 
een terugroepprogramma aangekondigd op 1 oktober 2019, dat 
liep tot 1 januari 2020.
