The band was founded in late summer 2009 by drummer Quint Meerbeek and singer and guitarist Thomas Wouters. A first self-titled EP was released that year . A music video was also created for the single Slaves of War . After guitarist Bram Hilhorst and bassist Mathieu Westerveld joined the band, the debut album Malevolence was released in 2012 via Cyclone Empire . The album features a Massacre cover called Cryptic Realms , with Kam Lee appearing as a guest vocalist. The second album was released on the same label in September 2013The Coming Scourge . Guest musicians include Once Begotten singer Dirk Willems and Hail of Bullets guitarist Stephan Gebédi. The album features the Bathory song Enter the Eternal Fire as a cover . The album was later re-released in the United States on Metal Blade Records . Unbroken was released as a single from the album . Westerveld then left the band and was replaced by bassist Harry van Breda. In 2015 he was replaced again by Alex Seegers. So far the band has been able to perform at, among others , Zombie Fest ,]the Eindhoven Metal Meeting , Extremefest , Hell Inside , Mass Deathtruction , Neurotic Deathfest and Summer Breeze as well as playing alongside bands like Asphyx , Death DTA , Hail of Bullets, Hypocrisy , Nile , Obituary and Unleashed . In November 2015, the band's third album, Battle Breed , produced and mixed by Ronnie Björnström , was released via Cyclone Empire.

In March 2019, the singer announced his departure from the band; he lost his fight against his brain tumor in August of the same year.
