After Asgard is destroyed by Surtur during Ragnarok, the Tesseract crash-lands in the Haudenosaunee Confederacy in pre-colonial America, which years later becomes the land of the Mohawk tribespeople. In late 15th century, a young Mohawk woman, Kahhori, and her brother Wahta, are hunted by Spanish Conquistadors, who have ransacked their village in search of the Fountain of Youth. Kahhori and Wahta discover a cave where the lake is located.
