Nathan Hystad is een Canadese schrijver van science fiction (space opera) boeken, met een klein uitstapje naar horror en thriller.

Ik had al eerder de Explorations anthology boeken in mijn bezit en recent kwam ik weer die naam Nathan Hystad tegen. Tijd dus om eens al zijn boeken erbij te zoeken. Echter, Hystad is zo'n schrijver die bijna maandelijks nieuwe boeken uitbrengt dus dit overzicht is binnenkort al weer sterk verouderd. Er ontbreekt overigens 1 reeds verschenen boek in dit lijstje: het horrorboek Red Creek heeft ook een vervolg genaamd Return to Red Creek. Die laatste ontbreekt.

De reeks Rise schrijft Hystad samen met de Engelse schrijver Devon C. Ford. Misschien dat ik de boeken van die laatste binnenkort ook even ga opzoeken. Het derde boek in deze reeks verschijnt binnenkort.

Er zijn een aantal verzamelbundels (anthologies) waar Hystad alleen het redactiewerk voor heeft gedaan of waar hij alleen een kleine introductie heeft geschreven. Die boeken heb ik toch toegevoegd.
