Dani Wilde, Samantha Fish, Cassie Taylor - Girls With Guitars Live (Ruf 1182) (2012)(CD +DVD)

Germany's Ruf Records is one of the few patrons of the label tour still remaining. Where record labels used to put packages of their artists together for tours quite regularly in the '60s and '70s, now it doesn't happen anywhere near as often. But now in its fourth year Ruf's Blues Caravan tour aims to exhibit emerging young talent in blues by getting some of the promising players on their roster to not only tour together, but actually play together in a two or three guitar attack. By far the most popular combinations have, perhaps for obvious reasons, been the Girls With Guitars tours which have featuring three of Ruf's female artists. In early 2012 the tour went through central Europe and featured guitarists/vocalists Dani Wilde and Samantha Fish alongside bassist Victoria Smith, with this live album.
