Voor de liefhebber echt uitzonderlijk mooi. Ik ben wel benieuwd wie deze Shane McGowan is. Het kan niet de zanger van de Pogues zijn. Iemand?

Leonard Barry's new recording "Littoral" shows remarkable depth and good taste. This is real Irish piping from a master in his prime, with sympathetic backing by an equally qualified group of noted traditional musicians. The pipes-flute-fiddle front line rides above the accompaniment which compliments his effective use of the drones and regulators. It's also a nice snapshot of the current trad scene in Sligo where Barry currently resides.
