The second series of The Tribe opens with the discovery of an antidote to the mysterious virus that has wiped out the adult population. In order to search for the cure, The Tribe must leave the mountain and return to the city where the antidote is rumoured to be hidden. As they they prepare for the journey, a horrific accident occurs and the subsequent deaths leave the group stunned and in dissarray. Allegiances change and new rivalries emerage as The Tribe battle to stay alive in their new harsh world, where the structure of society has collapsed and the battle to be in command of the new order rages.
