Dangerous Dave Champion's Edition  README.TXT

This distribution of Dangerous Dave games contains both Apple II and MS-DOS programs.
To run these you will need to install two programs that are free, AppleWin and DOSBOX.

You can download AppleWin here:

https://github.com/AppleWin/AppleWin/releases

Under Releases, choose the latest version. In the "Assets" section download the AppleWin zip file.

Install AppleWin in your Program Files(x86) folder and the game shortcuts will launch correctly.

Click the DOWNLOAD NOW button for the latest version.

Install DOSBOX in your Program Files(x86)\DOSBox-0.74-3 folder and the game shortcuts will launch correctly.


On the Shotgun Shell USB drive there is a folder named "win". This is where the Windows versions are located.

In each of the folders you will see a shortcut starting with "_Run". Double-click this and the game in that folder 
will run with either AppleWin or DOSBox.

In the "2021-dangerous-dave-in-the-deserted-pirates-hideout" folder, just double-click DangerousDave.exe.
