But around this time last year it was all about Joe Exotic and his Exotic Animal Park - as well as his rivalry with big-cat rights activist Carole Baskin.

Now, Ross Kemp has gone on the hunt for the UK's very own Joe Exotics in Britain's Tiger Kings - On The Trail With Ross Kemp.

The two-part documentary sees the actor-turned-investigative-journalist visit those who keep dangerous wild animals right here in the UK.

Ross will set out on a journey to discover why anyone would want to keep a 250kg feline, and asking whether it is in the best interests of the animal to do so.
