Ooit, in een grijs verleden, heb ik een tijd in Schotland doorgebracht. Daar kwam ik op feesten (Ceilidhs) in aanraking met de Schotse folk. Nu heeft mijn voorkeur zich in de jaren redelijk ontwikkeld, maar het is met veel plezier dat ik weer eens terug ga naar hoe het ooit bij mij begon. Mijn eerste LP in dit genre was van Alasdair Gillies, de zingende andarts, Live at the Eden Court in Inverness. Later heb ik in Portree alles nog eens op CD gekocht. 

Veel plezier er mee en als ik Alasdair Gillies weer terugvind zal ik hem hier spotten.
