Lizz Wright - Shadow

Renowned US singer Lizz Wright marks her illustrious 20-year with her latest album, Shadow, which is also the debut album on her new label, Blues & Greens Records. Ahead of its release on 12 April, she returns to the UK for a live preview of the music, performing at Cadogan Hall, London on 15 March.

The new studio album follows the release of 2022’s live Holding Space and celebrates Wright’s two decade-long career that’s established her as an undeniable vocal icon, with a distinctive, emotive delivery. Her assuredness, refined technique and expressive grace have rightly earned her reputation as one of today’s most powerful singers. And while her roots are in jazz, live, she brings an electrifying gospel-blues soulfulness to everything she sings.
