t’s a collection of acoustic folk songs with weird lyrics that are so specific and out there, it forces you to believe they’re incredibly personal and heartfelt. That’s what I call the Will Toledo effect. 

The songs themselves aren’t incredibly remarkable except a few like Bad Beer, Acolyte, and Glowing. A lot of them can blend together and are not very distinct, which is my main criticism (typically the case for a lot of acoustic albums) Otherwise, it’s a great album.
