Scott Ellison 14x (2023) (Blues Rock) (flac)


Singer-songwriter, gitarist Scott Ellison ontstond eind jaren zeventig als een bluesrock-krachtpatser in zijn geboorteplaats Tulsa, OK. Met de begeleidingsbands van Eric Clapton en Freddie King in die tijd, beiden afkomstig uit de regio, bracht Ellison's gitaarversnipperende heavy bluesstijl hem al snel regionale en vervolgens nationale aandacht. Hij maakte voor het eerst kennis met het spelen met Jessica James (de dochter van Conway Twitty) in 1977, en het nationale bluespubliek leerde hem kennen via zijn werk in de touringband van iconische bluesman Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown in 1980-81.
