Marcus Malone, is een zanger/gitarist uit Detroit die al jaren in Engeland resideert. Daar heeft hij in vele projecten met de beste uit de Britse muziek scene samengewerkt. Zo was hij recent (2022) nog actief met Innes Sibun (recensie) en nam hij albums op met leden van Hip hop act Massive attack, en de Londense bluesrock band 24 Pesos. Voor zijn nieuwe project Interstate 75 zocht hij de samenwerking met Dan Smith van The Noisettes. Dan en Marcus kennen elkaar al sinds 2000 speelden in elkaars band en voor dit album Interstate 75 grepen zijn terugop de funk blues soul en R&B.
