Callie erft de boerderij van haar vader, een van de originele Ghostbusters. Ze verhuist met haar kinderen Phoebe en Trevor naar het kleine dorpje in Oklahoma. Daar vinden ze onder meer Ecto-1, het voertuig van de Ghostbusters, terug. De kinderen moeten beslissen of ze in hun voetsporen willen treden.
