Agnostic Front is een Amerikaanse hardcoreband die in 1982 in New York City werd opgericht. De band begon hardcore punk te spelen, vergelijkbaar met bands als Black Flag en Negative Approach , en maakte deel uit van de snelgroeiende New Yorkse hardcorescene van het midden van de jaren tachtig met de release van Victim In Pain in 1984. In Cause For Alarm uit 1986 verwerkten ze thrash metal-elementen in hun geluid. Na een korte onderbreking vanaf 1993, hergroepeerde Agnostic Front zich in 1996.
